Process Laboratory
This LAB is an ideal place to nurture a Process Engineer. It is well furnished with facilities as follows:
1. Heat exchanger
2. Boiler
3. Flow loop
4. Level measurement using various methodologies like capacitive, float.
5. Various flow meters like Magnetic flowmeter, Rotameter, etc.
6. Control valves : globe valve, butterfly valve, with current to pneumatic & vice - versa facility.
7. Compressor
This Lab is integrated with DCS & PLC for real time operations. The PLC & DCS are located in Integrated Automation LAB & Industrial Automation LAB respectively from which the live processes of boiler, heat exchanger, flow loop & level loop are controlled.
