The focus is also laid on personality development and the motto is "United We Control". This is the only department which emphasizes training in foreign languages and professional communication thus encouraging non-audit courses since 2001-02. The Department is also well equipped with lab facility for the academic development of the students few of them being Process lab, DSP lab, PLC lab, Biomedical lab etc.

Industry Interaction: The Department has M.O.U窶冱 with several leading companies which has narrowed the gap between the college and the industry. Latest automation tools like the PLC and the DCS are also available. Several visits are planned by the department every year for students from various classes to get the feel of the industrial environment.

Another aspect of the department has been the special emphasis given on the industry-college interaction under which every year Industrial visits and project training is organized. The vision of the department is to develop a motivated and dynamic team of young engineers, scholars , researchers and allrounder窶冱 who have a strong base and are well adapted to the ever changing technology and are globally competent.
